The EPA Lead Certification Refresher Course is offered completely online and it does not require any hands-on components, which means it can be taken entirely in the convenience of your home or workplace. The refresher course is available to you for the renewal of a previous EPA Lead Renovator Initial Certification, complying with the EPA’s Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule. The EPA requires that you renew your lead certification prior to expiration or you could face fines of up to $37,500 per day for noncompliance and will have to recertify through the initial course.
